Live music for your Esher wedding
Just me, a guitar and a voice. For the ceremony, the drinks, the evening, or all of it.

I'm Aaron, and I've been gigging for a living since 2006. Esher and the villages around it are well-trodden ground for me. A wedding usually starts with a song down the aisle and something under the register signing. Then I set up at the drinks reception and play an hour and a half or so while people find the bar and settle in. Plenty of couples have me back later for an evening set.
It's a guitar and a voice, nothing pretending to be a band. After this many weddings I can usually feel which way a room wants to go before it does.
The wedding reel
A couple of minutes of the real thing — me playing live at weddings.
Esher weddings I've actually played
These are ones I've actually played. Not a wishlist.
Sandown Park
I've played the racecourse a fair few times. The suites are on the big side, so I bring enough PA to fill them without it ever getting loud.
Painshill Park
Just over the way in Cobham. You cross the Chinese bridge on the way in, and it sits perfectly against that quintessentially British backdrop.
I also cover Esher's other wedding venues — Beaverbrook and more. After hundreds of weddings around here, a venue I've not yet played is no obstacle, and there's no travel charge inside the county.
What I'll play on the day
The ceremony
A song as you walk in, something under the register signing, and a song on the way back out. All learned for you beforehand.
Drinks reception
An hour and a half or so while everyone gets a drink and settles in. Quiet under the chat, a bit more when it lifts.
The evening
An optional set later on, before any DJ or disco. The kind of songs people end up singing along to.
- —Up to three songs learned just for your day
- —My own PA. I turn up, set up, you forget about it
- —Public liability insurance, the cover venues ask for
- —I keep out of the way. The day's about you, not me
Esher wedding questions
How much does a wedding singer cost in Esher?
It depends how much of the day you'd like covered. Some couples book me just for the ceremony, others for the full day through to an evening set. Give me a rough idea of how the day runs and I'll come back with a straight price. No extra travel charge inside Surrey.
Have you actually played at Sandown Park?
Yes, a fair few times, and at Painshill nearby too. I cover the area's other venues as well, Beaverbrook included. If your venue isn't one I've played, don't worry. I'll happily talk you through how I'd handle it.
Can you learn our first dance and a ceremony song?
Yes. Up to three songs learned especially for your day. Most couples go for the first dance, a ceremony song, and sometimes one for a parent dance.
Do you bring your own PA and are you insured?
Yes to both. My own PA, and public liability insurance that covers what venues ask for. I get there early, set up, and stay out of the way.
What people say
A few words from the venues, couples, and event hosts I've played for across Surrey and the South East.
“Myself and my husband remember Aaron from his busking days in Kingston, and we've followed him ever since. Aaron played at our wedding on New Year's Eve 2019. We requested a few songs he hadn't even heard before, and he made our day by singing them. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.”
