I'm Aaron, gigging for a living since 2006. Egham and that corner of Surrey — Virginia Water, Englefield Green, out towards Chertsey and Runnymede — is an easy run for me. Weddings here tend to follow the usual shape: a song down the aisle, something under the register signing, then a set at the drinks reception while everyone settles in. A lot of couples have me back for the evening as well.
It's a guitar and a voice, nothing pretending to be a band. After this many weddings I can usually tell which way a room wants to go before it does.

Great Fosters
The Tudor estate just outside Egham, all fifty acres of it and Grade I listed. I've played a wedding here, and grand as it is, a single voice and guitar suits the rooms better than you'd expect.
Your venue not on here? Doesn't matter. I play all over Surrey, and there's no travel charge inside the county.
What I'll play on the day
The ceremony
A song as you walk in, something under the register signing, and a song on the way back out. All learned for you beforehand.
Drinks reception
An hour and a half or so while everyone gets a drink and settles in. Quiet under the chat, a bit more when it lifts.
The evening
An optional set later on, before any DJ or disco. The kind of songs people end up singing along to.

How much does a wedding singer cost in Egham?
It depends how much of the day you'd like covered, just the ceremony or the full run through to an evening set. Give me a rough idea of how the day runs and I'll come back with a straight price. No extra travel charge inside Surrey.
Have you played at Great Fosters?
Yes, I've played a wedding there. If your venue is somewhere else around Egham, Virginia Water or Runnymede, that's no problem — I'll happily talk you through how I'd handle it.
Can you learn our first dance and a ceremony song?
Yes. Up to three songs learned especially for your day. Most couples go for the first dance, a ceremony song, and sometimes one for a parent dance.
Do you bring your own PA and are you insured?
Yes to both. My own PA, and public liability insurance that covers what venues ask for. I get there early, set up, and stay out of the way.
