Hey, I'm Aaron — a solo acoustic singer based in Dorking, Surrey. If you're looking for someone to play your wedding, private party, drinks reception, or a regular night at your pub, you're in the right place.

I have been gigging full-time across Surrey, London and the Home Counties for years. Over that time I have played hundreds of weddings and probably as many pub and venue nights, and the thing I love most about this job is that no two rooms are ever the same. I turn up, I read the room, and I do my best to make it the kind of night people are still talking about on the Sunday morning.

Just me, a guitar, a voice, and a proper PA — set up by me, packed down by me, no fuss either side. No backing tracks unless you specifically want them. No band to coordinate with. One musician, one phone number, one quote that doesn't move on the day.

What I sound like

Stripped-back and acoustic — warm vocals over fingerpicked or strummed guitar. Think Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, Paolo Nutini, Oasis, The Script, Tracy Chapman, Adele, Elvis. The kind of songs people in the room will actually know — and most importantly, sing along to without having to be told.

Areas I cover in Surrey

I'm based in Dorking and I regularly play across Guildford, Woking, Cobham, Oxshott, Weybridge, Epsom, Esher, Leatherhead, Reigate, Redhill, Farnham, Godalming, Chertsey, Walton-on-Thames and Kingston. I also cover West Sussex and the Berkshire border without blinking. Anywhere within an hour of Dorking, the travel is included.

What it costs

Honestly — it depends on the day, the length, and the travel. A typical solo acoustic wedding booking in Surrey usually lands somewhere around the £300–£500 range. Pub and venue gigs vary. The best thing to do is drop me an email with the date, the venue and how long you need me for, and I will come back the same day with an exact quote. No hidden fees, ever.

A few things people often ask

Do I need to provide anything? Just a standard UK plug socket within about 10 metres of where you want me to play. That's the whole list.

Can you play outside? Yes, weather permitting. I need shade for the guitar if the sun's out (direct sunlight isn't kind to the wood), and shelter if there's any rain in the forecast. The PA isn't waterproof.

Will you learn our first-dance song if it's not on your list? Yes — I will learn it, arrange it for solo acoustic, and play it live for you. As long as you let me know at least two weeks before the day, it's included.

Do you travel outside Surrey? All the time. Travel is included within about an hour of Dorking and quoted separately beyond that. Just ask.
