Aaron's weekly dispatch
Hey everyone,
There's not a huge amount to catch up on this time, and for the nicest possible reason — I've been away with my family and had an amazing holiday, which was really lovely. It did mean everything went on hold for two weeks, so I've come back and gone straight back into work this week.
This Week
Thursday night was The Minnow in Weybridge — a really lovely gig, and the sun was just about still shining, so we could play outdoors.
Friday night was The Station in Stoneleigh. Another really lovely one, and I saw some familiar faces in the crowd.
Saturday afternoon I played Music On The Lawn at Denbies in Dorking, and I can't say the same thing for the weather — it wasn't a very pleasant day, unfortunately. But that didn't stop us. I played acoustic outside underneath the covering, everyone got involved and had a good time, and there were a few magical moments with people singing along and clapping away.
Then on Saturday night I was at The Blue Anchor in West Byfleet. A really lovely gig once again, with lots of requests and the audience getting involved.
And as I write this, I'm heading to my first gig of the day at The Oxshott Club, which I know will be a blast based on the last gig there. Then tonight I'm hosting the monthly open mic night at The Sovereigns in Woking — with it being bank holiday weekend I'm sure it'll be jam-packed, so I can't wait.
Tomorrow I'm at The Woodman in Woodmansterne from 2pm for an afternoon acoustic set. It was initially planned to be a rockaoke type day, but unfortunately due to noise restrictions the acoustic option has become the only feasible way to keep the gig going ahead — so come down for a bank holiday singalong instead.

It only went up this morning and it's already one of the best-performing videos on the channel this week, so it seems people don't mind the swap.
